Situated in the heart of Luton in Bedfordshire, Dallow Primary School is a welcoming environment where pupils have positive attitudes to learning.
The school’s staff benefit from a good support structure, are highly motivated and their enthusiasm for learning is shared by the pupils who behave well in the classroom and enjoy coming to school.
The school has a strong specialist sports team who teach PE across the school as well as running sports clubs and a variety of teams who compete across the town. Music is taught across the whole school by specialists and they have a strong choir who have won local competitions and participate in the annual Young Voices event at the O2.
Dallow is also a member of the Challenge Partners as part of the ‘Denbigh Hub’ which is one of only a small number of hubs across the country. These networks provide a structured and sustained approach to school improvement through training and developing teachers, peer review, school-to-school support and joint practice and leadership development.
The school’s commitment towards the well-being and development of its staff has always been of paramount importance and a shared sense of vision and purpose is felt throughout the organisation.
The school’s core value statement "Success, Confidence and Happiness” reflects their belief that every child should become a successful learner, a confident individual and a responsible citizen.
