Although each of our schools retains its individual identity and history, the desire for excellence and high achievement for all learners, regardless of their background or ability, is the common underpinning feature of all six schools.
We work together, using our very best teachers and leaders to raise the outcomes and opportunities for every child, sharing best practice and expertise amongst staff to raise participation and narrow gaps in achievement.
Judged to be outstanding by Ofsted in February 2014 and in previous inspections, the Chiltern Training Group is Luton’s most established teacher training provider. Our CTG trainees benefit from expert tuition and hands on experience within our own schools and others, and are able to gain valuable knowledge at the very cutting edge of teaching and learning.
This work is built upon further through the Chiltern Teaching School Alliance (CTSA) and individualised CPD programmes within our schools. We also work extensively with other schools locally and nationally through the CTSA and Challenge Partners, a national school improvement network.
The focus on high quality teaching is reflected in the achievements of our schools, the many awards and accolades and the strong demand for our staff to help support schools in challenging circumstances.
